Tara lived in Baton Rouge, LA for most of her life, but moved to Tampa in August of 2003. She met up with the local Rocky Horror Picture Show people and decided to be part of the Tampa Theatre cast.

Her past acting pursuits include:
Chorus girl in "Guys and Dolls" Tara High School '99
Hermia in a "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Tara High School '99.
Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" Tara High School '98
A figment of the imagination in "This is a Test" Tara High School '98

She also was Soprano Section Leader of both the prestigious Lee High School choir from '95-'97 and, due to zoning, Soprano section leader of Tara High School Choir from '97-'99 (2 years at each).
